In 2011, Gartner named Talend a Cool Vendor in Application and Integration Platforms. Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are innovative, impactful, and intriguing.

Leading UK newspaper The Telegraph nominated Talend to the Telegraph Tech Start-Up 100: Class of 2011.  Start-Up 100 is an attempt to create the most authoritative and trustworthy ranking of promising technology start-ups in Europe. After six months of careful evaluation, leading UK newspaper The Telegraph announced the hundred companies that made it into the Start-Up 100.

2010 Open Innovation Award

At Open World Forum 2010, Talend received an Open Innovation Award for its ground breaking open source MDM solution, Talend MDM. Open Innovation Awards are awarded to "projects and solutions most likely to have a significant impact on society and on the marketplace".

For the second year in a row, Talend was named a Bossie 2010 Winner by Infoworld. The InfoWorld Test Center picked the top open source operating platforms and middleware of 2010. Talend was recognized for its "strong tools for ETL, business and job modeling, and impact analysis", and for "raising the bar with the addition of master data management tools and native support for Hadoop, laying the groundwork for large-scale, 'big data' analysis".

Information Management - 40 Vendors We're Watching in 2010

In 2010, Talend was selected by Information Management as one of the 40 Vendors We're Watching in 2010 for its open source integration and MDM software.  Why? "We just have to give this company credit for kicking down the proprietary software door in these categories, and because proprietary software needs to learn a thing or two about community".

2010 VAR Guy’s Annual Open Source 50

The 2010 VAR Guy’s Annual Open Source 50 ranked Talend #12 for for its channel program.

Talend received a Golden Decideo 2010 in the annual "Decideo Barometer". For the first time, the community of BI users presented this award to an open source vendor. And, for the first time, a data integration tool was recognized by the survey.

2009 InfoWorld's Bossies Awards

InfoWorld's 2009 Bossies spotlight today's Top 40 open source products for business and IT pros. Talend was nominated a winner in the Best of open source platforms and middleware category, as "an excellent choice for data integration projects large or small".
